Adding Custom Verbiage to Your Products and Treatments
Custom Verbiage is any custom text that you want to add to an item/SKU in your store. There are a number of different places where you might want to add custom verbiage.
(1) Important information, appearing just below the short description and above the price.
Here you might want to call attention to important information such as "Consultation is Required" or a message about which office this treatment is available in. This verbiage may be entered and styled in the “Additional Description” section of Listings in Shop Manager.
(2) Required Acknowledgement, appearing just above the Add to Cart Button.
Here you might want to show patient certifications or contraindications which you want the purchaser to be Required to acknowledge in order to purchase. These are special types of custom verbiage which are available to be enabled and edited in the “Patient Certification” section of Listings in Shop Manager.
(3) Other custom descriptive information, appearing in the Short Description or the Description tab.
You can always customize the item's short description or description by editing these sections of Listings in Shop Manager.

In Shop Manager, click “Listings” from the left menu.
3. Open the specific product or treatment details by clicking on the pencil icon next to the item in Listings.
Additional Description
Scroll down and look for the “Additional Description” section. Click the arrow to expand this section.
Type your desired verbiage, and modify its appearance using the text editing functions shown. The color drop icon includes Background and Text color editing options. You can even insert images here by clicking on the image icon. Remember to click “Save Changes” at the upper right corner of the product page to save your edits.
Patient Certification
Scroll down and look for the “Patient Certification” section. Click the arrow to expand this section.
Toggle any of the available certification statements to enable it. To edit the title and/or description, click the Pencil icon next to it. Since these are editable, you are not bound by the pre-existing certifications. If you require a completely unique certification or contraindication, enable any of the listed certifications and edit the title and description as needed, then save it. Remember to click “Save Changes” at the upper right corner of the product page to save your edits.
Short Description and Description
Edit the content of either the “Product Short Description” or the “Product Description” section. Remember to click “Save Changes” at the upper right corner of the product page to save your edits.
NOTE: Refresh the page on the store front end to see the edits made in Shop Manager.
